Early life

Terrence Williams was born on June 28, 1987 in Seattle, Washington, United States. Nothing is known of his youth or his parents. For his education, he attended Rainier Beach High School. After high school, he entered the University of Louisville.

Williams played as a starter for the high school team for four years. During this time, he also helped his team win the state title. Williams continued his fine form by playing for the University of Louisville men’s basketball team. In the Cardinals’ season opener against Hartford, he had 14 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds.

Terrence began his professional basketball career after being selected by the New Jersey Nets in the 2009 draft. With the New Jersey Nets, he recorded his first triple-double on April 9, 2010 against the Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets. He played for the Rockets until March 16, 2012, after which he was released from the Rockets.
