Som Shekar is an Indian MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) actor, model and trainer who mainly works in the Tamil film and television industry. He is best known for playing an IAF cadet in the Tamil action movie Soorarai Pottru (2020) and Mustafa in the musical novel Meendum Oru Kadhal Kadhai (2016).
He is passionate about boxing and has won two gold medals internationally. He recently appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss Tamil 4 as a contestant and. The show premiered on the Vijay TV network and started on October 4, 2020.
