Following three daughters, he was the first son. Hugo (el Turco) and Ral (Lalo), his younger siblings, were both professional football players. Diego Maradona “Chitoro” (d. 2015) and Dalma Salvadora Franco “Doa Tota” (1930–2011) were his parents.
