Early life
Will Zalatoris was born on August 16, 1996 in San Francisco, California, United States. His father, Richard Zalatoris, was a pilot and his mother, Katherine, was a homemaker. He studied at Trinity Christian Academy. He later enrolled at Wake Forest High School, but dropped out before his senior year. Will decided to play golf instead of going to college.
Will has been playing golf since high school. In 2014, while attending Trinity Christian Academy, he won the USA Award. Championship among juniors among amateurs. He was also named the ACC Player of the Year in 2017.
