Early life

Trevor Moore was born on April 4, 1980 in Montclair, New Jersey, United States. He was born to his parents Mickey and Becky Moore. His parents were Christian folk rock artists. Trevor traveled a lot with his parents on his tour, which led him to change schools frequently. In fact, he attended five different schools.

Trevor became a published cartoonist at the age of 15 after doing some of his early work on a book called Scrapbook. When he was 16 years old, he created the Cuddy comic for The Charlottesville Observer. Moore graduated from Covenant School when he was 18 years old.

He then enrolled at Virginia Commonwealth University. Initially, she wanted to study journalism and political science in college. In the end, however, she chose the movie. Moore also studied at the prestigious Manhattan School of Visual Arts. He is also a film graduate.

Moore started his show called The Trevor Moore Show in 1997. The show aired on public television in Charlottesville, Virginia. After the show, he became popular in the local student community. PaxTV then offered him a sixteen-episode deal. The show was canceled due to questionable material. He later worked as a writer and producer on the Uncle Morty comedy series Dub Shack.

In 2002, Moore did a personal internship on the late-night sitcom Saturday Night Live. He would have spent a semester there, but he ended up spending a full year after the producers asked him to stay for a year. Moore credited series creator Lorne Michaels with teaching her how to act.
