Also known as the “Queen of Spades”, she is one of the true pioneers of women’s MMA and a member of MMA. She faction of the Four Amazons along with Ronda Rousey. She currently has a contract with WWE and performs under the NXT brand. Baszler was trained by former UFC fighter Josh Barnett. In 2006, she fought her first professional fight and in the years that followed she gained fame and attention across the country for using her backwards submission setup and the setup she used to submit various opponents, including Roxanne Modafferi. In 2013, the UFC signed Basler to a contract with Ronda Rousey on the reality show The Ultimate Fighter.
