Rashida began her music career as part of the all-female hip hop trio Da Kaperz. She was able to establish herself as a talented rapper by singing with a hip-hop group. However, in the year 2000, she left the group and began her solo career. On March 27, 2001, she released her first studio album, Dirty South. The album included the hit single “Do It”.
Rashida released her second studio album A Ghetto Dream under her DLo label in March 2002. She released her third album GA Peach on April 25, 2006.
