Param Bir Singh is an Indian IPS officer who is currently the Mumbai Police Commissioner. He is a former police commissioner from Thane (the capital of Maharashtra). Param Bir Singh also served as the Chief of the Mumbai Police Anti-Corruption Bureau.
He became famous when he was appointed Deputy Commissioner of the Mumbai Criminal Investigation Department in 1990 as he played a major role in fighting underworld at the time.

He added that he had provided all the necessary documents and assistance to the Bihar police during the investigation and also added that the Mumbai police had nothing to do with the quarantine procedure (IPS officer Bihar).
