NoCap was born on August 20, 1998 in Mobile, Alabama, United States. He started rapping on stage when he was only 9 years old. As he matured, he embraced the introspective underlined texts that turned into dangerous street life. He even lost some of his friends to gun violence.
NoCap was inspired to pursue a career in music after being managed by a man who was dating his mother. He played many live shows with his brother. As a teenager, he took a break from music. After graduating from Murphy High School, he returned to music and began to take music seriously.
