Luis Miguel was born on April 19, 1970 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, United States. He was born in the family of the Spanish singer Luis Gallego Sánchez. His father is commonly known as Luis REY. Similarly, his mother, Marcela Basteri, an Italian actress, mysteriously disappeared in 1986. His father was a drunk who later became depressed and finally died in Spain on December 9, 1992.
