Jeanette Lee was born as Lee Jinhee on July 9, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. Lee is of Korean descent, she was born into a Korean family.

Jeanette started playing pool in 1989 at the age of 18. Her game improved as she started playing more games. Finally, in 1900, she was named the best player in the world. Jeanette finished third three times at the NineBall World Championship from 1993 to 1996.

Lee also received the 1998 Athlete of the Year award from the Professional Women’s Billiards Association. In 1999, Lee won the $25,000 Women’s Tournament of Champions. In 2003 she won the same championship again.
