David Faber grew up in Queens, New York in a Jewish family. Faber claims that he was constantly bullied as a child, but this helped him develop a tough personality as he grew older. After graduating from high school, Faber attended Tufts University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English with honors in 1985.
