Early Life
Anthony Blinken was born on April 16, 1962, in Yonkers, New York. He was born to parents Donald M. Blinken and Judith. His father, Donald, was the US ambassador to Hungary. Blinken graduated from the Dalton School in 1971. He then moved to Paris with his mother and stepfather Samuel Pisar.
In 1980 he entered Harvard University. Four years later, in 1984, she graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences. As a student, he wrote several news articles for the Harvard student newspaper The Harvard Crimson. He entered Columbia Law School in 1985 and received his JD in 1988. He began practicing law in Paris and New York.
