Early life
Annette Kowalski was born in the United States of America. His real date of birth is still missing. However, several sources indicated that his age was between 80 and 85 years old. Nothing is known about his youth, parents and university education.

Annette first met artist Bob Ross when she was suffering from depression after her son’s death. When she was going through depression, she watched the TV show of the German artist Bill Alexander on PBS. She then completed a five-day course in Clearwater, Florida attended by artist Bob Ross. Annette was extremely intrigued by Ross’s talent and she and her husband soon teamed up with him.
