Anfernie Simons was born on June 8, 1999 in Altamonte Springs, Florida, United States. She has been actively involved in sports since her school years. While attending Edgewater High School, she played 30 games for Edgewater, averaging 17.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1 steal in each game.
Anferni moved to Monverde Academy in his first year. However, he did not have the opportunity to play against Monverde. That’s why he went back to Edgewater. In 2017 he graduated from Edgewater averaging 23.8 points, 4.2 assists, 7.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. During his first year, he played a total of 20 games.
