Early life
AJ Galante was born in New York, United States. He was born to garbage tycoon Jimmy Galante. AJ grew up with his family in New Fairfield, Connecticut. From a very young age he was attracted to hockey. During his studies, he also played hockey.

AJ attended New Fairfield High School, where he was the assistant captain of the school’s hockey team. When he was an old man, he seriously injured his knee. During a hockey game, he was a quarterback and he accidentally hit a little boy. Then, rival players chased after him and caused a serious knee injury.
After the accident, he was no longer able to play hockey. Jimmy loved his son very much and to keep him happy, in April 2004 he bought a minor league hockey team called the Danbury Trashers. AJ remembers well how the idea to buy a hockey team came about.
AJ was having lunch with his family and his dad said out of the blue, “If I ever buy a hockey team, you’ll run it.” Just two days later, Jimmy announced that he had bought a hockey team.
The Danbury Trashers became famous for their brutal wrestling and play on the ice between 2004 and 2006. Fans have enjoyed every championship game. AJ oversaw the team as general manager. However, after Jimmy’s arrest in 2006, the hockey team disbanded.
AJ then worked as a truck driver for a while. He visited his father at least twice a month. AJ decided to enter the boxing world as a manager after a friend asked him to help manage a fighter in 2011. He went on to found the Champs boxing club in Danbury. He was also the Vice President of CT USA Boxing.
