Shoni O’Neill was born Va’Shaundia Carlette Nelson on November 27, 1974 in Wichita Falls, Texas, USA. She was raised by her mother Lucille. Shawnee grew up with two half brothers and two half sisters. For her studies, she entered the University of Southern California, from which she graduated in 1997.
