Early life
Rich Paul was born on December 16, 1981 in Cleveland, United States. He spent his childhood in a studio in Glenville. His father ran a company called R & J Confectionery. In 1999 he lost his father to cancer.
Paul attended a Roman Catholic high school. After graduating, Andy Hyman, owner of Distant Replays, commissioned him to sell old T-shirts. At 19 he bought his first house. Under Hyman’s leadership, he bought old jerseys in Atlanta and made about $10,000 a week selling jerseys in Cleveland.

Rich met professional basketball player LeBron James at the Akron-Canton airport in 2012. James was very impressed with his original Warren Moon jersey. Paul gave James his contact number and James soon contacted him and bought a Magic Johnson Lakers jersey and a Joe Namath Rams jersey.
After a while, Paul started working with basketball manager and sports agent Leon Rose. He worked with Rose for almost six years and left his creative artist agency in 2012. Later, he founded his own agency called Klutch Sports Group. Paul has brought his old friend LeBron James to his new adventure. With the help of attorney Mark Termini, Paul secured NBA contract negotiations for Klutch Sports Group.
