Ranjitsinh Dysale started his career as a teacher at Pat’s ZP school. He worked as a teacher in a dilapidated building between a barn and a warehouse. At this school, all the girls are from tribal communities where girls’ education is not common and teenage marriage is a very common practice.
After working there for some time, Ranjitsinh Dysale discovered that the student’s first language was Kannada and he was having difficulty achieving the expected learning outcomes.
Since then, Ranjitsin has redesigned all the textbooks and introduced a new transformation to incorporate QR-encoded audio verses, video lectures, stories and assignments in Kannada. He also won the Wipro Nature for Society for his use of QR code technology.
Ranjitsin’s brilliant effort has been a reward for the school as it was voted the best school in the district in 2016 and even Microsoft CEO Satya Nadela recognized his talents and praised him.
