Pusha Ti was born Terrence LeVarr Thornton on May 13, 1977 in New York, United States. He grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia with his older brother Gene. Pusha and her brother Jin, known as No Malice, formed the hip hop group Clipse in 1992. In 1997, the duo signed to Elektra Records. Pusha originally took the stage name of Terrace.
