Both Puma and Sizer became popular television hosts after they both appeared on the reality show Black Ink Crew on VH1. The reality show aired on January 7, 2013. It tells the story of the day-to-day life of its employees who work at a tattoo parlor in Harlem. The reality show was recently renewed for a ninth season, which premiered on April 19, 2021.
Puma appeared in season 4 as the main cast member of the reality show. He was a guest in season 4 and a regular in season 5. However, he returned as one of the main cast members in seasons 8 and 9.
