On Sunday night, June 12, 1994, Brown, 35, was stabbed to death outside the home along with her boyfriend, 25-year-old waiter Ron Goldman. Her body was found shortly after midnight on June 13. She lay in a fetal position in a pool of blood. The autopsy revealed that Brown had received seven stab wounds to the neck and scalp and that he had a 5.5-inch (14 cm) gash across his neck that severed his left and right carotid arteries and punctured his right and left carotid arteries. Additionally, Brown’s funeral was held June 16 at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Brentwood. Among the mourners were Simpsons and her children, members of the Brown family, Al Cowlings, my host Cato Kalin and Steve Garvey. Brown is buried at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest, California.
