Nick Lachey was born as Nicholas Scott Lachey on November 9, 1973 in Harlan, Kentucky, United States. He was born to his parents, John and Kathleen Lachey. His younger brother, Drew Lachey, is a singer and actor who was also a member of the boy band 98 Degrees.

For his education, he attended Clovernook Elementary School in North College Hill, Ohio. She also attended the Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts. She later moved to the University of Miami. In 1992 she entered the University of Southern California.

Nick began his singing career with his friend Justin Jeffrey as part of a quartet on Kings Island. He though he gained popularity after joining the boy band 98 Degrees. The group had their first success after the release of their second album “98 Degrees and Rising” on October 20, 1998. To date, the popular group has sold more than 10 million records.

In 2003, Nick garnered more praise after appearing on the MTV reality show We Got Married: Nick and Jessica. He starred in a reality show with his then-wife Jessica Simpson. Nick released his first solo studio album titled “SoulO” on November 11, 2003. However, the album did not receive a good response from the public and was also a commercial failure. On May 9, 2006, he released his second studio album, What’s Left of Me, which reached number 2 on the Billboard 200 and also went gold.

In December 2009, Nick hosted The SingOff, an American song contest. On March 3, 2014, he appeared as the host of VH1’s pop culture talk show Big Morning Buzz Live. He also appeared in the celebrity dance contest, Dancing with the Stars, where he competed against his wife, Vanessa. After three years as a couple, Nick and Jessica announced their divorce in November 2005. The couple filed for divorce on December 16, 2005 and the divorce was finalized on June 30, 2006.

Nick began dating model/actress Vanessa Minnillo after starring in her 2006 music video for What’s Left of Me. Although they separated in June 2009, they got back together in October 2009. The couple got engaged in November 2010 and exchanged vows on July 15, 2011. The couple has three children together.
