Early Life
Noel’s parents immigrated to the United States from Haiti. She grew up in the United States and attended Everett High School for the first time. Noel enrolled at the University of Kentucky where he competed in several national tournaments. His early performances were truly impressive, as he even set a college record in a 12-block game. However, Noel suffered a horrific injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee that forced him to sit out and recover for the remainder of the season. However, despite this setback, he was able to win numerous awards, most notably in that first season at the University of Kentucky.
Noel then entered the NBA draft after just one season in college and was selected sixth overall by the New Orleans Pelicans. However, he later moved on to the Philadelphia 76ers. Although he wanted to contribute in his first season, an injury stopped him. He finally made his debut in 2014 against the Indiana Pacers. He extended his rookie contract with the 76ers and continued to play for years to come.
