Michael Nader was born on February 19, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He was raised primarily by his mother after his parents separated a few months after his birth. He spent his youth in Los Angeles after his mother Minette moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

As for the details of his education, he attended Palisades Charter High School. In 1963 he graduated from high school. Michael’s uncle, George Nader, was also an actor and starred in several movies. Following in the footsteps of his mother and his uncle, he decided to become an actor.

Michael became addicted to drugs in the 1980s, leading to his sobriety in 1980. Nader was arrested in 2002 for trying to sell cocaine to an undercover agent. After the accident, he lost his role in All My Children.
