Jerry Douglas (born Gerald Rubenstein) was born on November 12, 1932, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, USA. He was born into a family of Jewish immigrants who moved to the United States from Eastern Europe. Jerry grew up in Chelsea, where he studied economics at Brandeis University. He also attended Boston Law School, but dropped out to focus on his acting career.
