Early life and family
Psaki was born on December 1, 1978, in Stamford, Connecticut, to James R. Psaki and Eileen Dolan Medway. Her father is a retired real estate developer and her mother is a psychotherapist.
Regarding his education, he attended Greenwich High School graduating in 1996. He went on to earn a BA in English and Sociology from the University of William and Mary. Psaki was also a swimmer and competed in various competitions while in college.
She goes with her husband and marries Gregory Mecher. He is deputy treasurer of the Congressional Democratic Campaign Committee. They married in 2010 and have two children.
