Hello people! Pumpkin Pie is here and I’ll show you how to make JackOLantern. How to make a JackOLantern lamp in Minecraft. Our Halloween special is finally here and this week we have a really fun build for you! This time we have a Minecraft JackoLantern build, so let’s go for it.
Of course, working inside was even more fun than outside. We were limited by the size of the pumpkin, but that never stopped us. This is what we found. This might be my favorite part of all! It also worked as well as expected. If you want to download this version yourself, it is available here.

This is how it happened. Pretty cool, right? I think so too…it’s actually quite scary.
Material Required
Here is a list of things we will need:
– A pumpkin
- Glowstone or any other light-based block works great too!

Some pebbles to carve your masterpiece from a spider egg.
A crafting table will come in handy for making some of the tools for this step, just like the spider egg from part 3 of this series!
A shovel or something that can dig the earth.
An axe, or even two, if you want to cut the squash into small pieces.
Anything to brighten up the inside of the pumpkin. (pillow works fine)
That’s it! Perhaps an extra hand without fingers would help, but it’s not necessary.

In Minecraft, a pumpkin is one of many bricks you can make.
First, open up your workbench so you have a 3×3 render grid.
In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area consisting of a 3×3 grid. To craft a pumpkin lantern, place 1 carved pumpkin and 1 torch on the 3×3 grid.
When making a lantern, it’s important that the carved pumpkin and torch are placed exactly like the image below. In the first row of the middle square there should be 1 carved pumpkin. The second row should have 1 lantern in the center panel. Now that you have filled the build area with the correct pattern.
After creating the pumpkin, you will need to move the new item to your inventory. Congratulations, you made a pumpkin in Minecraft.
