If you don’t want to be notified of every reminder and failure, you can always use Microsoft Outlook’s “Tracking” feature to track the “Success” or “Failure” of your reminders for each recipient. Navigate to your Sent Message folder and select the message you want to recall. Select the Follow button.
How do I know if my email has been recalled?
Once you’ve received it (or the first in the case of multiple recipients), you’ll also see a tracking icon for your originally sent item. Double-click these sent items again and click the Track button to preview the reminder results.

First, turn off Process requests and responses on arrival in the tracking options. This prevents the callback from happening until you actually open the callback request.
Does the email reminder work?
Recipient has already opened the message: If a recipient opens your email before you can recall them, the recall will not work. The recipient will still receive the reminder message you requested, but it will remain in their inbox as it is now a “read message”. 5
