How to uncheck a checkbox in Word when printing?
To print detected changes without printing the markup area, go to the Review tab on the Word 2013 ribbon and in the Show Markup drop-down list, deselect Comments and Formatting. This removes the markup area when printed, but still shows the spin bars on the left or right margin (regardless of settings).

To prevent lane change indicators from printing, click the button in Settings (the button will most likely say “Print All Pages”). Note that in the “Document Information” section there is a check mark next to “Print” in the drop-down menu.
