Synopsis for “You Are Unusual”
Dan Oh, a high school student, the only child of a wealthy family, suffers from a congenital heart defect. One day, he wonders why his memory is fading more and more. Finally, he realizes that he is a cartoon character and decides to find his true life and his love. Meanwhile, a character who doesn’t even have a name, the 13th student of Seoul’s high school, lives as a background for other characters, but his life slowly changes after meeting Dan Oh. They embark on their mysterious adventure to unravel the mystery of the world of romantic cartoons and are trying to rebuild their independent lives.
Unusual plot explored
Eun Dano (Kim Hye Yoon) is a bright high school student. Her family is rich, but Eun Dano suffers from heart problems. Her boyfriend Baek Kyung (Lee Jae Wook) is a student at the same high school. She loves him very much, but he doesn’t love her very much. Suddenly, Eun Dano has short-term memory loss. He can know what will happen in the next few years. She is confused by the symptoms. The next moment, Jinmich from the school canteen tells Eun Dano that she is an actress from the book “Secret” like everyone else. Eun Dano is surprised to find out that her character is not the main one, but an additional one, and that she doesn’t have much time to live a full life. However, Eun Dano is overwhelmed and decides that she wants to find her true first love and not the love of a comic book author. One day she slipped down the stairs at her school. Her back seems to touch the back of a male student in a group of male students. Her heart begins to beat. Eun Dano is determined to find the student who made her heart beat faster. Finally, she finds a student (Ro Woon) and finds out that she is her classmate. This is an unnamed character. They get closer and Eun Dano calls the character “Haru”.
