Erin Andrews was born on May 4, 1978 in Lewiston, Maine, United States. She was born to her parents Stephen Andrews and Paula Andrews. Her father, Stephen, was a television reporter and won six Emmy Awards. Her mother was also a teacher.
As a child, Erin was more of a tomboy. She grew up watching NBA games with her father. Erin finally became interested in sports after seeing the work of sportscasters Hannah Sturm, Leslie Visser, Melissa Stark, and Susie Colbert.

Andrews began his journalistic career in 2000 as a freelance journalist for Fox Sports Florida. A year later, she joined the Sunshine Network and began working as a reporter for the Tampa Bay Lightning. In 2002, she joined the Turner South Network as an anchor and studio reporter.
She joined ESPN in April 2004 and began working as a reporter for ESPN National Hockey Night. In July 2009, Erin’s video of her completely nude went viral online. The video was shot in 2009 by Michael David Barrett through a peephole in his Nashville Marriott hotel room.
Barrett was arrested by the FBI on October 2, 2009, and pleaded guilty on December 15, 2009. Authorities found another video of Erin on Barrett’s computer that was never made public.
