Ducey was CEO of Cold Stone Creamery from 1995 to 2007, when he and a business partner sold the company. As a Republican, he served as Arizona State Treasurer from 2011 to 2015. On November 4, 2014, Ducey was elected Governor of Arizona and was sworn into office on January 5, 2015. He was re-elected in 2018.
