Devin Booker was born on October 30, 1996 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. His parents are Melvin Booker and Verónica Gutiérrez. Her father, Melvin, is a former NBA player who played point guard in Missouri. Also, his mother Veronica is a beautician.
Regarding his education, he was educated in the Grandville Public Schools and in the Moss Point School District. Devin attended the same high school as fellow NBA players Tyler Ulis and D’Angelo Russell. He later moved to the University of Kentucky where he studied for a year from 2014 to 2015.
